ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LOT
It's time to start putting together our annual Christmas Tree Lot. We will be setting up our tree lot on Saturday, November 23rd. We need every scout and as many dads as possible to get this done in short order. We will meet at 8am on Nov. 23rd at the Scout Barn and should be through by 11am. Wear clothes as required by the weather and bring a pair of work gloves.
It is also time to start signing up for shifts to work at the Tree Lot. We are asking each scout family (scout/s and dad) to staff 4 shifts between Nov. 29th and Dec. 14th. If we are not able to sell out by Dec. 14th, we will ask each scout family to staff one additional shift between Dec. 15th and 21st. The shifts work like this:
Weekdays: 3-6pm and 6-9pm--need 2 families per shift
Saturdays: 8:30am-12:30pm, 12:30-4:30pm and 4:30-9:00pm--need 3 families per shift
Sundays: 11:30-4:30pm and 4:30-9:00pm--need 3 families per shift
If you have not yet received an invitation from VOLUNTEERSPOT.COM to sign up for tree lot shifts, please contact Andrew Sottek at email@example.com. If, after signing up for a shift, you find that you are unable to work your shift, please contact someone else in the troop to trade shifts. In VOLUNTEERSPOT.COM, you will need to delete the shift that you cannot make in order to allow the person you are switching with to get that spot....then you can sign up for his spot after he deletes his shift. VOLUNTEERSPOT will send you reminder emails about working your shifts. For General Instructions about how the Tree Lot works, click HERE.
