Boxwell Summer Camp--June 30-July 5, 2013

Boxwell Scout Reservation is the Middle Tennessee Council's own private 1100 acre camp in Gallatin, TN.  This camping opportunity is probably geared a little less toward adventure and more towards advancement.  Scouts can sleep in hammocks by the water's edge on Old Hickory Lake or in platform tents and enjoy three square meals/day in the dining hall instead of having to prepare and cook all of their meals.  This gives scouts the opportunity to spend more time towards advancement with over 60 classes offered to help scouts advance in rank over the summer.  The early-bird cost is $205 (checks made out to BSA) if registration is paid by May 13th.....otherwise, the cost is $230.  Registration can be handled through Russ Parham during troop meetings.
